The perfect city

…doesn't exist, as it completely depends on your game style.

Types
A. Attacker
As attacker you might need a lot of of troops. You normally have a lot of t1 troops and you are in constant need of retraining. That means the best if to have a mix of manors (for training speed) and barracks (for number of troops in training, I'm lazy and want to train more in one training - so actually you can also reduce the barracks to one ;)) on the left side of your city and a lot of farmlands on the right side of your city, so that you can also go into resource mode sometimes not constantly with food in red.
B. Defender
A defense city has a lot of t1 troops in it and does not attack actively, that means the city wants to get attack. For that reason the city should have one barrack and one manor (in the setup process of the city, it can be more manors to train the t1 shield faster). The rest should be infirmaries. The city will shield after each attack and will be able to heal the troops in the infirmaries.
The defending city can either act as farm account or built a balanced farm on the right side of the city.
C. Yielder
Yielder should be set up similar to Attackers as they cant heal the troops they loose in tile attacks. That means ist necessary to have a lot of manors to retrain the troops cheaper. But yielders dont need to much troops, so they definitely dont need more than one manor - just if they are also very lazy :)
D. Farm
Depending on what you farm, you set that up on the right side of your city. Focus on a maximum of 2 rss on the right side. On the left side of the city, you do a lot of manors for silver. You need to send the prodction of the farm city regularily to your main city, as your city STOPS PRODUCING when you are at the capacity level.
